
This is the final AP Poll before the start of the NCAA Tournament.
Gonzaga (25-8) hasn’t been in the AP Top 25 since the week of January 13th. After a run at a West Coast Conference Tournament title with a victory over Saint Mary’s (28-5). The Zags are back in at No. 24 while receiving a total of 151 votes while the No. 20 Gaels received 306 total votes.

Now that the start of the NCAA Tournament is almost upon us, this ranking really doesn’t mean anything. It’s just nice to be recognized as this group has won nine of their last 10 matchups.
In KenPom, Gonzaga is ranked No. 9. The Zags have the No. 9 adjusted offensive efficiency and the No. 29 adjusted defensive efficiency.
In the NET rankings, Gonzaga is ranked No. 8. The Zags finished with a 5-5 record in Quad 1 games and 5-3 in Quad 2 games.
Gonzaga enters the Midwest Region of March Madness as the No. 8 seed. The Zags open up against the No. 9 seed Georgia Bulldogs out of the Southeastern Conference on Thursday, March 20th at 1:35 p.m. PT on TBS.
