After beating Baylor and Arizona State, the Zags jumped up two spots in the national rankings.
It feels good to be back in the Top 5. Gonzaga has moved up two spots to #4 in the first regular season edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Zags received a total of 1,371 votes, including 3 first place votes. Only #3 UConn, #2 Alabama and #1 Kansas are ahead of Mark Few’s program.

As for who the Zags beat this past week, Baylor dropped four spots to #12 and Arizona State received a total of two votes. Gonzaga only has one matchup this week on Friday at 6 PM PT on ESPN+ as they get ready to host UMass Lowell out of the American East Conference.
The Zags have future games scheduled against #3 UConn and #19 Kentucky with the possibility of playing #16 Indiana and/or #9 Arizona in the Battle 4 Atlantis. Saint Mary’s didn’t receive any votes in this version of the AP Poll.
