A massive matchup between Gonzaga and Kentucky is going down this weekend at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.
After going 2-1 at the Battle 4 Atlantis, Gonzaga (7-1) dropped four spots in the fourth regular season edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The Zags received a total of 1,181 points with no first place votes.
After beating Gonzaga in the Bahamas, West Virginia (5-2) received 26 votes. Indiana (5-2) dropped out of the AP Top 25 and got 72 votes.
San Diego State (4-2) has joined the rankings at #24 while Arizona State (7-1) is five spots away from joining the Top 25 at 89 received votes. Baylor (5-2) moved up two spots to #15.
UConn (5-3) went winless at the Maui Invitational and dropped 23 spots all the way down to #25. UCLA (5-1) got 13 votes. Saint Mary’s (6-0) received 11 votes.

In the first edition of the NET rankings, the Zags open up at #3 behind #2 Auburn and #1 Tennessee. Gonzaga has a 2-1 record in Quad 1 games. Four other West Coast Conference programs rank in the Top 100 with Saint Mary’s (#25), Oregon State (#49), San Francisco (#52), and Washington State (#87).

Gonzaga has a matchup with Kentucky (7-0) in the Battle in Seattle on Saturday, December 7 at 7 PM PT. The Wildcats rank #4 in the AP Poll, #8 in the NET.
