A former Pac-12 turned Big-12 program is coming to Spokane this season.
This series is what essentially is replacing Washington in Gonzaga’s non-conference schedule for the next two seasons. Bobby Hurley vs Mark Few.
The Sun Devils and Zags have officially started a home-and-home series. It will start on November 10th in Spokane with the return game in Tempe during the 2024-2025 season. Both programs have never played each other before.
Arizona State will be playing a couple of current West Coast Conference programs and a future one. Santa Clara (November 8th), Gonzaga, and Grand Canyon (November 14th). That all comes during a six-day span in the first two weeks of the upcoming season for the Sun Devils.
Here is what the 2024-2025 non-conference schedule is shaping up to look like for the Zags:
November 10th vs Arizona State
November 27th-November 29th at the Battle 4 Atlantis (Arizona, Davidson, Indiana, Louisville, Oklahoma, Providence, and West Virginia)
December 7th vs Kentucky (in Climate Pledge Arena)
December 14th vs UConn (in Madison Square Garden)
December 18th vs Nicholls State
December 28th vs UCLA (in Intuit Dome)
That’s right, Gonzaga will have a crack at both the Hurley brothers in the same season.
