Two wins over Nicholls and Bucknell wasn’t enough to at least save their spot in the Associated Press poll.
The Zags (9-3) drop one spot to #14 in the seventh regular season edition of the Associated Press Top 25 poll. Gonzaga received a total of 757 votes.
UCLA (10-2) dropped down four spots to #22 with 246 votes. The historic rivalry between the Bruins and the Zags will take place at the Intuit Dome on Saturday, December 28th at 1 PM PT on FOX.
For the second week in a row, Saint Mary’s (10-3) received 0 votes after losing to Utah State, 75-68.

In KenPom, Gonzaga ranks #6 overall behind #5 Iowa State, #4 Houston, #3 Tennessee, #2 Duke, and #1 Auburn. The Zags have the #3 adjusted offensive efficiency and the #24 adjusted defensive efficiency.
In the NET rankings, Gonzaga places at #5 behind #4 Florida, #3 Duke, #2 Tennessee, and #1 Auburn. The Zags have a 2-3 record in Quad 1 games and 2-0 in Quad 2 games. Five other West Coast Conference programs rank in the Top 100 with Oregon State (#40), Saint Mary’s (#55), San Francisco (#60), Washington State (#67), and Santa Clara (#75).
