A huge jump in productivity during his second season looks to be on the horizon.
The sophomore standout proved that he no longer needs to compete in Las Vegas after just two games. If he kept going with the Denver Nuggets, Julian Strawther could’ve been the favorite for the NBA Summer League MVP.

The hometown kid averaged 28.5 PPG (1st in NBA Summer League) on 42.5 FG%/40.9 3PT%, 4.0 RPG, 3.0 APG and 1.5 SPG in 33.8 MPG. Mike Malone must be impressed and contemplating whether he should move Strawther up in his rotation heading into Year 2.
