Zags lock in their first 2025 recruit.
The best player from the state of Washington doesn’t have to go far for college.
The 6’5 shooting guard from Anacortes, Washington made his decision on the 4th of July to go to Gonzaga over Creighton and Kansas. Fogle only took one visit out of the three schools and that was just this past weekend during Spokane Hoopfest. It obviously was a very convincing trip.
“After my visit, I realized Gonzaga was the best place for me and there was no reason to wait.” (Davis Fogle via Eric Bossi from 247Sports)
Fogle can score on all three levels. Mark Few must love his high basketball IQ when he has the ball in his hands and when taking over the offense. With his great size for his position and as he continues to get bigger, Fogle can be a solid on and off-ball defender.
He can fill a similar role to what Corey Kispert or Julian Strawther did out on the wing during their respective times at Gonzaga. Fogle will be playing his senior season at Compass Prep in Arizona so a lot tougher competition than he would at Anacortes. Only bodes well for him when he steps onto campus in Spokane.
This looks to have a domino effect as Isiah Harwell in the Class of 2025 will be making his decision on September 14th. The Idaho native is deciding between Gonzaga, Houston, Cal, and Texas.
