The former Zag played in the Windy City from 2011-22 and won a WNBA championship in 2021.
The 3x West Coast Conference Player of the Year from 2009-11 is headed back to where she started her WNBA career. The Chicago Sky signed the veteran guard veteran point guard Courtney Vandersloot during free agency. Per team policy, terms of the deal are not disclosed.

During her time with Gonzaga from 2007-11, Vandersloot was the first NCAA Division I player with 2,000 points and 1,000 assists. She led the nation in assists per game in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons.
Vandersloot was selected as the third overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft and helped lead Chicago to their first WNBA Championship in 2021. She has spent the last two seasons with the New York Liberty and won her second WNBA Championship in 2024.
The Zag led the league in total assists over five seasons (2015, 2018-21) and currently sits second on the all-time career assists list with 2,850.
She is currently playing in the inaugural season of the 3×3 league, Unrivaled, in Miami with Mist BC. Vandersloot is averaging 7.5 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and 3.5 assists per game.
